The Pinewood Derby was this month and Stephen made his own car with his very own design. He called it the Rhino!!! Since it was his first time racing we decided not to get too into it by adding a bunch of extra stuff like weights. It was a good experience for him and next year he can think about making his car more competitive. Here he is waiting to race and then setting up his vehicle. Ethan and Christopher had a great time just running around looking at everything and playing in the Expo building. They spent a lot of time hiding and chasing each other.
Stephen has been playing basketball at Crossroads Christian Church. They administer the Upwards basketball program. Stephen is enjoying himself and learning a lot. He gets to run constantly to work off some of his exuberance. The whole family loves to watch and even Grandma and Grandpa Pace come to cheer him on.
The boys receive recognition when they come to practice and play in a game. They receive little colored stars. Green ones they receive for learning Bible verses and going to practice. Red, White, Silver, Yellow, and Blue they receive for displaying certain characteristics such as being Christlike or best defense. Stephen was really excited when he received the Christlike star.
